The Little Market is a fair trade shop and independent nonprofit and charitable organization founded by Lauren Conrad and Hanna Skvarla to empower women.  The Little Market showcases global handmade products for purchase and the artisans behind them from 69 artisan groups in 28 countries. These artisans and their partners are improving the quality of life in their individual communities through literacy programs, business training, and health programs. The Little Market works closely with disadvantaged and marginalized groups of artisans to increase their products’ reach worldwide and eliminate the difficulty created by remote locales, small-scale production, and lack of technical support. The Little Market is a member of the Fair Trade Federation and the Alliance for Artisan Enterprise. More information on their practices and impact can be found here.
