Cameron Saul and Oliver Wayman co-founded Bottletop after their success upcycling bottle tops and metal ring pulls into handbags and chain mail fabric. The luxury fashion brand is based in London and creates all of its products from recycled material, and creates training programs in challenged parts of the world to stimulate local economies. Bottletop equips artisans in Brazil and Nepal to make upcycled bags, and provide these workers with a salary 45% higher than the industry average. The company also exclusively uses zero deforestation leather, working with the Instituto Centro de Vida (ICV) to source leather that promotes sustainable farming, reducing deforestation and aiding in rainforest conservation. Along with its sustainable and socially conscious practices, Bottletop’s philanthropic arm, BOTTLETOP FOUNDATION, supports grassroots health, education, and skills training products.   Saul and Wayman have also created #TOGETHERBAND,  a global movement committed to achieving all 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals. The founders of BOTTLETOP and #TOGETHERBAND want to bring these goals into conversation by asking people to choose the goal that matters most to them and then purchasing a corresponding bracelet. #TOGETHERBANDs are made from 100% recycled plastic, and all of the proceeds go towards organizations that work towards achieving your chosen goal.
