Zuahaza

Zuahaza is a women-owned home goods company founded by Tatiana Ordoñez and Veelie Alba. They work with artisans across Colombia to create their products, made with materials including 100% organic cotton, palm fiber, fique and natural dyes. Zuahaza works directly with three artisan collectives: Corpolienzo, Crearcoop and La Familia Becerra. All of their artisans receive fair, living wages and are paid nearly double the Colombian minimum wage.

Zuahaza means “my sister” in the Muisca language. Their mission is to connect women across Colombia through their shared culture, history, diversity and dreams.
