Folks & Tales is an e-commerce brand selling handcrafted home goods, sustainably produced in Moroccan artisan communities. Born and raised in Morocco, Founder Dounia Bounahmidi sought to fulfill her passions for design, social impact and cultural blending through selling authentic Moroccan goods and shipping them worldwide. The designs feature textiles rooted in Moroccan culture, blending traditional shapes, patterns and materials with contemporary aesthetics. The company partners with artisans from small cities and remote villages throughout Morocco, showcasing the designs inspired by ancestral craftsmanship. Through direct collaborations, Folks & Tales practices fair trade standards by cutting out the middleman. The handmade goods are made from locally sourced sheep wool and premium cotton, ensuring sustainable practices.
