Carole Bamford is the owner and founder of both Daylesford Farm, one of the most sustainable organic farms in the UK, and Bamford, a multi-national lifestyle brand. Both of these businesses were founded on the belief that we need to be mindful of our connection to the earth. Carole Bamford believes that to live consciously we must respect nature’s resources and the land that provides for us. Her fashion label, body & skincare lines, home products and spa locations are all based on the philosophy of supporting artisans around the world and using natural and environmentally friendly materials. Founded in 2006, Bamford has released timeless, lasting products while emphasizing the importance of sustainable practices. The fashion line works with natural fibers that biodegrade within 1-5 years — much better than synthetics like nylon which can take up to 30-40 years. Bamford is also connected to the Lady Bamford Charitable Trust, a foundation that works in partnership with governments and local communities to help disadvantaged people attain a better quality of life.
