Abbatté
Abbatté is a textiles and home goods brand, handwoven in the Segovian hills of Sierra de Guadarrama, Spain. This company was founded in 2013 by Elena Goded Rambaud, a biologist and professor at UNED Calatayud, and by her daughter Camila Lanza, an art historian and designer. Abbatté utilizes traditional craftsmanship techniques in combination with their unique plant dyeing practices, all grown on-site in their botanical garden. Abbatté also upholds the preservation of craftsmanship by offering courses on traditional weaving practices in their Monastery.
