When I think of October, colorful leaves, crisp air, and delicious apples come to mind. October is the month that bridges the summer heat and the winter chill. We put away our bathing suits and take out our knits, welcoming the energy of the fall season. It’s a month that invigorates and inspires joy and possibilities. It’s a month of vibrant colors: Golden leaves, vegetables in deep shades of green, purple, and orange, in brilliant contrast with bright blue skies.
October offers the melodic rustle of leaves, the smell of hot cider and warm donuts, the comfort of hearty and tasty meals, and the satisfaction of curling up in a cozy knit. It’s days like these that compel us to stop, look around, and appreciate the beauty of life, without the distractions of the brutal summer heat or harsh winters ahead.
Take time to enjoy the comforts of October!
