Edible Manhattan kicked off the summer with their annual and local Brooklyn Uncorked food and wine festival, Thursday May 28th, celebrating award-winning New York state wine and food companies. Hunter’s Brooklyn’s well balanced salmon crostini, Marco Polo’s authentic Italian spring ravioli, and Home/Made Bklyn’s sweet citrus ricotta were all tasting offerings. There was a buzzing atmosphere as New Yorkers gathered with excitement to discover new combinations of food and wine. Drifting through the stands, the night was fun and festive. This evening marked the start of a summer full of culinary and wine events, giving the opportunity to mingle with fellow food and wine lovers.
