EU ORGANIC

European Commission Organic Certification Logo

logos on a wine product indicate that the product was created with at least 95% organic ingredients in the European Union and respects strict conditions for the remaining 5%. To earn the EU Organic certification, a product must undergo strict assessments throughout multiple stages of its production. During this rigorous assessment, an item is analyzed on how it is produced, processed, transported and even stored. Commercial products can only receive the EU Organic stamp of approval once they have fulfilled all the requirements of the certification system. Additionally, products containing the EU Organic logo must list all the places that their raw agricultural materials are farmed from on the product label, ensuring full transparency of the composition of their food or drink. This label assists consumers in identifying organic products while supporting European farmers.
